Strong Schools

Iphepha for Pupils donated more than 700 display files (Flipfiles) and lever arch files to the Strong Schools initiative. Files were donated to Iphepha for Pupils by various schools and organizations. Iphepha volunteers clean and repair files where necessary and redistribute where there is a need. Strong Schools is a Non-Profit Organisation that facilitates sustainable change in government schools. They design and guide whole school development journeys in order to build schools that are efficient and effective in its mandate of education.

Joya Homes and Educare have been created to provide love, hope and purpose to abandoned, abused and vulnerable children. To achieve this purpose, they focus on providing loving homes and educational programmes.

Phambili Community Development
The Phambili initiative is designed to provide valuable health care and wellness services to all the people of the wider Broadlands Park community. Phambili targets more than 500 new young people each year, through camps, “life-building programmes”; support groups and other educational tools, to assist them to become ambassadors for healthy living, and to decrease the number of new HIV infections.

Strong Schools
Strong Schools is a Non-Profit Organisation that facilitates sustainable change in government schools. They design and guide whole school development journeys in order to build schools that are efficient and effective in its mandate of education. Such organisational change involves training, development and capacity building of a school’s management, teachers and operations and coordinating community involvement to assist in practically executing a school’s strategic goals.

Iphepha Year-end function

The generosity of all sponsors enabled Iphepha for Pupils to supply 25 learners with their annual stationery for 2020. Learners were given their stationery during a function held at De Hoop primary’s after-care centre. All learners were children of domestic workers identified by Iphepha for Pupils sponsors.
